This page says what we know about you when you visit ticcom.sk (including its subpages), why we know it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. We write it to be read — not to be skipped.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) — the law does not require it, as we do not process personal data on a large scale nor monitor individuals systematically. For any question, use the address above.
| What data | name, e-mail address and the text of the message you send us |
| Purpose | handling your request and any further communication about it |
| Legal basis | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract at your request; where no contract is involved, our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) in replying to whoever contacted us |
| How long | the message arrives by e-mail and stays in the mailbox; unsolicited enquiries are deleted within 12 months, correspondence relating to an order is kept for its duration and then for the statutory accounting and limitation periods |
| Spam protection | to keep robots from abusing the form, we derive a one-way fingerprint (hash) from your IP address together with a secret key — the IP address itself is not stored — and delete it within 24 hours at the latest. Attempts to send the form are recorded without the message text and without the e-mail address (time, outcome and a daily-changing IP fingerprint); these records are deleted after 365 days at the latest. If the protection stops a message, we set it aside on the server for a few days at most (usually 3) and send it to ourselves by e-mail for review, so that a genuine enquiry caught by mistake is not lost; it is then deleted from the server and handled like any other message from the form. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in protecting the form and our mailbox from abuse. |
| Is it mandatory | no — the form is voluntary; you can equally write to us directly |
We want to know whether what we write here makes sense. So we keep simple statistics directly on our own server. It stores nothing on your device — no cookies, no identifier, nothing that would recognise you on your next visit.
| Where | on all of ticcom.sk including subpages — also on the presentation of materials
for Okolo Slovenska 2026 (ticcom.sk/okolo-slovenska/2026/) |
| What data | time of visit, page visited, where you came from, the sections shown to you, clicks on links leaving our site, time spent on the page, window size, browser language and device type |
| Identification | we do not store your IP address. We derive a one-way fingerprint (hash) from it together with a secret key and the date. The key changes every day, so we can count you within a single day but cannot link you to a visit tomorrow or yesterday. |
| Our own visits | so that we do not count ourselves, we store a marker
(localStorage) on our own devices only. Nothing is written to visitors' devices —
this marker never appears on yours. |
| Legal basis | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in knowing how our site is used. As nothing is stored on your device, your consent is not required. |
| How long | at most 365 days, after which the records are deleted automatically |
| Who sees it | only us; the data is not sent anywhere and not sold to anyone |
In addition to our own statistics we use Google Analytics 4. This tool does use cookies and the data is processed by Google. It does not load without your consent — until you click "Accept", not a single request leaves this page for Google. Google Analytics is used only on the main ticcom.sk pages; the Okolo Slovenska 2026 presentation does not use it at all, so we do not ask for consent there.
| What data | the standard usage data collected by Google Analytics (pages visited, time, approximate location, device) and identifiers stored in cookies in your browser |
| Legal basis | Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent. The storing of cookies is also subject to Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications. |
| Recipient | Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may also be processed outside the EU on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework |
| Advertising | advertising features are switched off — we ask for consent to measure traffic, not to target advertising |
| How long | per the Google Analytics settings, at most 14 months |
You can also withdraw consent by clearing the site data in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Write to gdprticcom.sk — we reply within one month at the latest. Please note, however, that the visitor statistics are pseudonymous: without further information from you we cannot find you in them, and therefore may not be able to give you access to them (Art. 11 GDPR).
This policy is effective from 9 October 2026 (the original version applied from 29 August 2026; change: visitor statistics on subpages as well). If what we process or how we process it changes, we will change this text and update the date. We do not keep older versions — the site is simple and its history lives in version control.
This is an English translation of the Slovak original. In case of any discrepancy, the Slovak version prevails.
